Rumor Review: WWE departure, Jey Uso entry, Eddie Kingston injury, more!

Speculating on the rumors surrounding professional wrestling is a favorite pastime of many fans, perhaps second only to actually watching the matches. In this daily column, we take a look at the latest rumors coming out of the pro wrestling rumor mill.

Important reminder: Rumors are just that: rumors. None of this has been confirmed as fact, it’s just circulating around the pro wrestling rumor mill. We track the accuracy of rumors in a weekly feature called Rumor Look Back, which you can find here. Remember: take it all with a grain of salt.

  • Meanwhile, Fightful says Steve Rubin, who had been with WWE for more than 25 years and served as Senior Director of TV Event Relations, was also fired this past week.
  • According to Fightful Select, WWE is planning to do more to showcase Jey Uso’s entrance after things got so crazy in France with all the fans using lights to participate.
